After Coinbase releases its quantum cryptography plan, it will upgrade its key management system

Coinbase has released a blog post introducing its preparations for quantum cryptography. It plans to develop PQ CoreKMS, which supports post quantum signature algorithms, to protect 99.9% of custodial assets. In August, it will hold a post quantum migration seminar with Stanford University and support open source proposals such as BIP-360 as a founding member of the Bitcoin Security Alliance. Jeff Lunglhofer, Chief Information Security Officer of Coinbase, pointed out that the industry needs to prepare in advance for future quantum computing threats.
