US 10-year TIPS bid yields reach new high since 2008

The US Treasury Department's issuance of $21 billion 10-year TIPS resulted in a winning yield of 2.438%, a new high since 2008 and about 2 basis points higher than market expectations at the 1pm bidding deadline in New York time.
