Swyftx has obtained an Australian financial services license and plans to expand its payment and derivatives business

According to Cointelegraph, the Australian cryptocurrency exchange Swyftx has obtained an Australian financial services license, which allows Swyftx to offer derivative products such as cryptocurrency options or futures to retail customers and authorizes it to provide non cash payment services. Andrea Yuen, interim co CEO of Swyftx, stated that after obtaining the license to provide payment services, Swyftx will no longer be a purely cryptocurrency spot exchange in the future, and currently does not hold an AFSL license for spot cryptocurrency trading.
